Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Personalize funny videos and birthday eCards at JibJab!

Had to do this for Oliver... he's been begging to see a JibJab, but the other ones we created have been dropped from the site (you have to pay for 'em).

This may be the only time I can get all of these guys to root for the Mets! Ha!

Chuck E. Evidence

Because I just can't throw them out!!!
The one of Ollie and Logan didn't scan too well... you would giggle if you saw his "Cheese!" face now.
We had planned to go to Jenks, but the weather was cruddy, so we ended up at Chuck E. Cheese's instead. A fun night-- the boys are getting so big!

Under the Big Top

The circus came to town and Grandma Lacina got tickets! The kids were psyched. Trenton had been to the circus once before, but he was too little to remember it. And Oliver has a Wiggles circus movie that he adores...

They began with the tigers, and then had a family of acrobats, dancing pink poodles, elephants, lots of clowns, dancers, motocycles in a steel cage, and even a camel. The boys were mesmerized.

I asked them to smile for the picture, and they did.
(Just kidding)
Trenton freaked out a little when the clown car bang-popped and separated. He does NOT like random loud noises. Oliver screamed when the man was launched out of the cannon for the finale. Louder than you'd think...

Mini Me

Lest you think that our youngest son looks anything like me at all, I present you with THESE:

Jim's about five years old in these pictures, right about the age that Trenton is right now. His brother, Jason, is as cute as a button.

It's amazing how their HAIR looks the same, right? I see bits of Trenton and lots of Oliver in these pictures.

But I can confirm that both boys definitely have my ears ;)

House Full of Boys

It is very nice to have company over in this big, new house. Look how we can all fit around the table!

The kids had a blast discovering everything they could in the playroom, backyard, and toy box upstairs. Superhero dress-up was a big hit...

...for almost everyone.

The iPad kept 'em busy, as well.
A nice, low key weekend with cousins. The boys had been counting down the days for weeks. :)

The Gifts of Spring

It was clear to us that we'd have some surprises to look forward to in our new yard come spring. There were many kinds of plants in the front, back, and side yards that had been cut back during the winter.
This spring, we all watch with excitement as each week it seems that different things are blooming.
We have beautiful irises, lilacs, azaleas, and tulips. The colors are just gorgeous.
What a nice surprise that the former owners left us ;)

More Pics of Boys

Trenton was very focused at last Saturday's game. He kept his eye on the ball while playing in the outfield and hit a few pitches from his coach.

They played Harrison's team, the Mets. Each boy received a pink wristband in honor of Mother's Day. Trenton gave me his as a gift-- very cute ;)

I hosted Science Club at our house this past week. We had a bunch of boys digging for worms all over the backyard-- they found a few! We used magnifying glass lenses to check 'em out further. Then, the boys decorated bug-shaped Shrinky Dinks and watched in amazement as they changed shape in the oven.
