Boys had a blast. Continued our tradition of winter hike (dads) and Chuck E Cheese (the rest of us). First year that the kids were allowed to stay up until midnight.

Fastest Weekend Evah
You know it's gonna be a good weekend when you WIN A TOTAL OF $22 ON SCRATCH-OFF TICKETS, HOO YAH!
We drove down on Friday to see the Bluesteens for a quick visit and to witness Ethan's baptism. Above, there's Ollie, Marcus, Ethan, and Trenton. Lookin' excited to eat at The Outback Steakhouse.
Below, Jared plays his cello, while Marcus sings.
And then we drove back on Saturday, so that the kids could participate in their culminating run for the Marathon! Since July, they've been tracking their mileage, running, walking, and biking for up to 25 miles. On race day, they added the final 1.2 miles by running with other kids at the West Windsor Plainsboro High School track.

Needless to say, Daddy was very proud ;)
I thought for sure they'd resort to walking a bit... but they didn't! Ran the whole race, and stuck together, like brothers should do.

Very excited for post-race snacks.
Now! On to pumpkin picking and fall festivus at Tehrune Orchards!
Check out the solar panels on that barn!
And these unique farm animals! With faces that only a mother could love.
Keep milking, buddy. LMK when you get something.

Having a grand 'ol time laughing with Daddy.

The corn maze. Not as insane as last year. We found four 'season'al goals, and got the heck outta there this time.

And how do you end a fantastic day like this? By downing some delicious pancakes at Pj's Pancake House! They've opened a new location, in Princeton Junction. Boys enjoyed S'mores and Oreo flavored creations.

First Day of School, 2014

Third grade. Kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN. Akkk!!!!
Bus stop gang. Oliver is SOOOO excited to get ON the bus, rather than just see his brother off ;)

Here it comes! Guess who never looked back?

WOOO HOOO!
Everyone had a story to share.
Both boys sound like they scored with fantastic teachers.
We're happy :)

Later, at Back to School night, we were greeted with a Large Oliver and one of the many class pets for T, this bearded dragon named Norbert.

A Friendly Summer
SO here we have three Bluesteens and two Konopacks. And one gorgeous beach morning.

This will forever be remembered as the summer of The Ice Bucket Challenge. Kudos to Jim for coming up with a novel way to record himself!
Spent some time at a local library. Above, with an old friend's two kids... below, with playing chess with Nicholas.
Ollie makes friends with EVERYONE ;)
Pool playdate with Christian and Logan:

Grandma Lacina bought some neat bubble wands, created out of bent wires. Boys totally enjoyed it.

Big boys playing in the sand... and on the lifeguard stand... and enjoying ice cream on the last...day...before...school...
About a year ago, we made a donation to Belmar in support of their boardwalk rebuilding effort. Above, Oliver points out where his name is on the plaque!
Next time you're at Tenth Avenue... freeze out, and then look for us on this sign ;)

And Nora turns five! It was great to be able to celebrate with her and family at the local ice cream shop!
