Oliver's Sixth Birthday

So! He wanted a healthy snack to bring in to school for his birthday. And create an Edible Arrangement I did!
Little man's getting rather tall. Skinny legs, still. Goofy smile.

Extremely excited about new Tin Tin activity book and movies.

Strong man! Blue man!
(Technically, it was an Old Tyme Strong Man... "You can get one. Just go to Target. It was thirty bucks!"- O.K.)

So this has been our Halloween tradition: presents in bed, school, parade of costumes, trick or treating for about three blocks, candy passing out, dinner out, and then chillin' on the couch. DONE.

Kid party!! Pin the Hand on the Zombie Kid

Eat Zombie Brains from a String! (His idea)

Family party!

Happy sixth birthday, Oliver!  We love you!

Rounding out Octoboer

Oliver found that he is actually a fantastic goalie. Lots of fun running & kicking, wherever he plays.

Pumpkins were carved, Harry Potter is being read aloud (complete with character voices) by Daddy
Date afternoon with Big Guy at Sonic. And Uncle Len's race!

Dressed up as a bumblebee for Halloween, with other friends who were also "Boo Bees". HA!

Fastest Weekend Evah

You know it's gonna be a good weekend when you WIN A TOTAL OF $22 ON SCRATCH-OFF TICKETS, HOO YAH!

We drove down on Friday to see the Bluesteens for a quick visit and to witness Ethan's baptism. Above, there's Ollie, Marcus, Ethan, and Trenton. Lookin' excited to eat at The Outback Steakhouse.
Below, Jared plays his cello, while Marcus sings.

And then we drove back on Saturday, so that the kids could participate in their culminating run for the Marathon! Since July, they've been tracking their mileage, running, walking, and biking for up to 25 miles. On race day, they added the final 1.2 miles by running with other kids at the West Windsor Plainsboro High School track.

Needless to say, Daddy was very proud ;)
I thought for sure they'd resort to walking a bit... but they didn't! Ran the whole race, and stuck together, like brothers should do.

Very excited for post-race snacks.

Now! On to pumpkin picking and fall festivus at Tehrune Orchards!
Check out the solar panels on that barn!

And these unique farm animals! With faces that only a mother could love.

Keep milking, buddy. LMK when you get something.

Having a grand 'ol time laughing with Daddy.

The corn maze. Not as insane as last year. We found four 'season'al goals, and got the heck outta there this time.

And how do you end a fantastic day like this? By downing some delicious pancakes at Pj's Pancake House! They've opened a new location, in Princeton Junction. Boys enjoyed S'mores and Oreo flavored creations.
