My Little Man,
Today was your preschool graduation. For you, it was just another day. You were excited to go to school, to see your friends... excited for the summer to start. I asked you this morning, as we lay together in my bed, if you liked your preschool. Your simple "Yes" answer made me smile.

You and your brother enjoyed an entire week together while we were
on vacation at Massanutten. On Monday, he cried when it was time to leave you at preschool. He absolutely adores you, his big brother.
How in the world is he going to get through the days without you next year?

You and your classmates put on a great show. Above, you sing a song called "Parade of Colors".

You are a shy guy... and
we know that. But I bribed you this morning by telling you that there would be ice cream cake waiting at home if you sang for us today.

Proof that the shirt I chose for you was a
wee bit too small. You are now in a size 6, for sure.

Your circle of friends grows every year. Rachael (on the right) has known you
since you were a peanut, learning to swim in the water at the YMCA. We are very lucky that you make friends so easily.

For this song, "Color Wheel", you twirled a green ribbon "slow, like the electric slide". You also pointed out that it was green, "Your favorite color, Mom."
You are so thoughtful.

Didn't have to worry about red eye with the flash during this little ditty... called "Ballin' the Jack" (whatever that means...)
You had no problem racing up when your name was called to get your 'diploma'.

Mrs. Truisi and Mrs. Coover.
When asked what your favorite thing to do at school was, you answered them "doing snack".

And here you are, with your best buddy, Harrison. He won't be going to the same school as you next year, but I promise we'll still plan for playdates. You guys spent the better part of the day together yesterday, having a blast.

We know you've grown a lot in your two years here at school. You are well prepared for a half-day kindergarten, for sure. You can read, you have a great awareness of number sense, you are curious about the world around you, and you love to see what your body can do. All of that is going to play to your advantage as you enter elementary school.
On Friday, you'll have your kindergarten orientation. Be able to sit on the bus, see your new school... You're excited about it. I think we are, too.
We love you, T. You're growing up so quickly. :}
