Knoebels 2011

OK! So! It took me forever to upload these pics. Once again, it was one of those trips where I had lots of good shots (that I know the boys will want to look back on again) and I didn't want to exclude many...
Like the four above! How CUTE is that kid?!

He was so enamored with the dog, he actually kissed it.
Knoebels has become an annual tradition for us now, much like it was for my brother and I when we were kids. We're happy to be able to spend some quiet time kicking back at the campground with my parents and some fun time at the park!

Dad found this bullfrog after the kids were asleep. Noisy thing, both day AND night!

Lotsa fishing at the catch-and-release lake on site.
Yes, we let the kids try out the worms.

Oh come on, you know I am kidding.
(They sold these candies at the general store-- realistic, no?)

Fathers Day was celebrated with a card made by Trenton and a book called "Animal Dads".
Pop Pop got kisses and an Oliver card.

Someone decided that he was going to be terrified of the rides. Makes no sense. He was just on them at Great Adventure and Jenkinsons... but he REFUSED to go on any rides. We tricked him into getting on the train, boats, and antique cars. But most of the time, he hung out on one of our hips. Or shoulders. Why bring the stroller?

Part of the "acrobatic and dog show".... yessss.... They also had an interactive puppet show that Trenton just loved... both boys said that mini-golf was their favorite event... the natural surroundings in the park (like the beautiful streams that run through it and the shady trees all around) are a sight to see...

Sad news is that this might be the last year of the Hand Karts for Trenton. He'll be too tall to ride them in the future!

Thanks again for all the memories!
