 Another great summer weekend down the shore!
The Asbury Park Jazz Festival took place the end of June... we went with Jon, Alex, and Jay for a bit to check out the local artisans, awesome-smelling food, and live music. Oliver surprised me when he said he wanted to get closer to the (very loud) stage and check out the musicians.

 He loved watching the drummer and guitarist. Several times, he asked to get down and dance!
So we did.

 Kids got free dodgeballs. Thanks 94.3 The Point! ;)

 And then it was off to Porta in Asbury Park for some pizza!
Although it was sooo frigggin' hot... we still ate outside, as the inside of the restaurant was PACKED.
In the picture above, you can see the Stone Pony's summer stage. We got to hear a bit of the opening band for Dierks Bently.

The pizza there is excellent and fresh... it is great to go with a group of friends and get a few different pies, so that you can try out all of them.
Alex, Jon, & Jay all went to the beach with us, too. Jim and T went to a Blueclaws game this weekend, as well... and Oliver and I went to the Wall Fair where we did a lot of truck touching with his buddy Alex ;)
