On Sunday we headed up to Paramus to meet up with Mina and Maya, and Bridget, Libby, and Logan. We met at the New Jersey Children's Museum for a bit and the kids got to play on everything there. I kept Ollie's paci in his mouth but let him explore anything he could reach (and then Purelled his hands afterwards).
This museum was very similar to the Discovery Museum in Cherry Hill that we went to with the Bluesteens. Above, Trenton, Daddy, and Ollie pretend they are walking among animals. Below, Logan admires a city.
(Scroll to the end of this post for a movie that I would have liked to insert here.)
The theme for the weekend was Wild West. They had a sing-along around a 'campfire' and roasted marshmallows. Libby delicately licked hers ;)
Then we headed over to the St. Athanathoios Greek Festival. Jim's Aunt Carolyn and family are members of the congregation. Jim and I had Gyros and Greek Fries (fries with oregano, lemon juice, and salt). My Aunt Carol & Family met up with us there, as did some of Jim's extended family, including Great-Grandma Wilson and Grandma Konopack.
Trenton tried his best at the games of chance. He got three balls up on the ledge-- just short of the furry characters he was trying to topple. Chrysanne was able to get 'em all down and win him a prize (a blue bear he named Rainbow).
Ollie knocked out for a nap in the sling; both boys crashed in the car later that afternoon.
Christian's girlfriend Jessica, Elise, Bryan, Dino, Peter, Great Grandma, Trenton, Grandma, Christian, Chrysanne, Carolyn, Sheryl, and Oliver. More pics of the clan and info on what happened next here.
